Audio Systems: rca reciever, home theater system, chinese company

I saw RCA in your profile....how do I find the remote code for my RCA TR2350 Home theater system...I had installed direct tv's new reciever and it can't find the code?

Apparently you didn't read my profile. RCA was a school that I graduated from for electronics back in the 60's. I don't know how that would have anything to do with your remote control. My profile lists lost's of commercial experience.

The logic for manufacturer parts is that if it's less than 7 years old the manufacture is supposed to have information in their database. If the remote control is really old then it probably won't be supported. You should try the RCA database. I believe that they are now some Chinese company (I think Thompson) but the RCA name should work.

The other possibility is to call tech support for Direct TV and see if they have the information
