Audio Systems: car amp, car amp, voice coils

Question
My car amp keep cutting on and off. All my speaker go to the amp. It is worst when I am playing a CD.

Answer
Could be loose wires to the amp and/or speakers.

Could be bad grounds.

Could be faulty amplifier.

Could be bad voice coils in one or more of the speakers.

There are many potential causes. It will require some troubleshooting by someone who can track down the reason for the drop out.

First you must determine if it is an internal problem of the amp.

Then, if not,is it related to loss of 12v power line to the amp.

Then, if not, is it when the bass power is too much and the amp is going into thermal cut-out.

Then, if not is it something external to the amp such as a shorted speaker or speaker wire that is shutting down the amp when it shorts out.

Etc.  So, you have some homework and testing to do.

Good luck,
