Hi, do you know anything about the AWA surround speaker deck model TSP-03?  Its a cheepie available at Woolworths (Aust) I have a LCD TV with crappy speakers but do not need a system that will melt my ear drums. many thanks   Ed

They come from China and, as you state, are low end merchandise.

What is your question?

If you want a better sound, go to a computer store and get some good PC speakers with sub.  They are cheap and sound pretty good when wired up to the tv.  Make sure your tv has audio output jacks so you can connect them directly to the self-powered speaker set.   You can get a pretty good sounding system for $35 and up.
