Audio Systems: bose 321 II speakers, bose 321, bose system

Question
Is there a way to hook up bose 321 II speakers to a stereo system other than a bose system.

Answer
I am a commercial Bose dealer and don't have much experience with their residential line. I will however say that there is no mystery to the various systems that they design, other than the fact that they tend to use proprietary connectors for their consumer products. Just about everything that they make consumer or commercial is two way (meaning satellite & subwoofer) that goes for most speaker manufacturers. There should be no reason why you can't use them as stereo speakers providing that they are connected at the amplifier and speaker end using the same polarity (- & +). Now that being said you still must use you jugdement as far as quality of sound to see if you need to add processing or a subwoofer. Rule of thumb: if it sounds good then it probably is. If it sounds bad then perhaps you want to use other speakers.
