Audio Systems: Setup, dual voice coil, watts rms

Question
I have a power acoustik LT1920 amp and a kicker s12l72 Sub for 1999 Cadillac Deville. How Should I go about hooking this up as far the channels, bridging, parrallel etc.? Also I have a 4 ga. power wire and a 8 ga for ground is this good?

Answer
looks like this sub is a dual voice coil, 2 ohm sub. rated for 750 watts RMS total.

the amp is spec'd for 880 watts RMS into a 4 ohm mono load.  which is perfect for this sub.  just wire the sub to the amp like this:

as for the power and ground, you MUST use the same gauge for both. 4 gauge is great for this setup so if there's excess length on that power wire, just cut off a foot and use it for your ground.  use a sharpy pen or something like that to paint the ends black so it's obvious that it's your ground wire even though its the same color wire as your hot wire.

Good luck!
