Audio Systems: How do I reset my Pioneer DEH-9, pioneer deh, control configuration

My car had some electrical problems which blew a fuse, and the  stereo I had installed previous to this was a pioneer DEH-9. I love the stereo, and it worked great, but, ever since I fixed the problem with the car, the stereo has been reset with a different confusing control configuration where the eject button chooses back and the function button ejects, while no button chooses forward, and my stereo has selected a balance of 15 to the right, and there is no way to change it with the current configuration. The manual is no help, how do I reset this to the original format??

hmmm.... I cant imagine this extremly wacky setup being an "option".
I doubt theres a way for it to rearrange all the buttons inside itself to do what you're describing.  so I think your unit just has a problem.  Pioneer actually has all manuals online.
