Audio Systems: amplifier pulsing and no sound, jumper cables, problem changes

Question
I have a few different audiobahn amplifiers that all have the same problem. When everything is connected there is a pulsing/clicking sound that comes through the speakers. even when the RCA's are not connected and i know the speakers are fine so i know its coming from the amp. no music/bass will come from the amp. The only result is this clicking sound that pulses from the speakers. is there a repair i could do or is there a store/website you would recommend? I live in Pa. Any answers would be helpful because i have a variety of amps that share this problem. Thanks!

Answer
boy! someone sure knows how to blow those amps!  lol.. anyway, they're all in protective shutdown for some reason, unless it's a problem with the remote turn on circuits. this will also happen to a point if your supply wires are too small. if you are already using huge wires for the hot and ground, try turning the remote switch off,(leaving amp on as long as power is supplied to it) and see if problem changes or not. if you want to check for wire size problem, try running a set of jumper cables from battery to amp temporarily. if none of these help, all i can suggest is to google 'audiobahn repair or service ' (i get hits either way sometimes) and ship it/them off, there's nothing easy you can do.
