Audio Systems: 1997 Honda Accord Cassete Player Jammed, cassete player, factory radios

Question
Ernesto, I was driving home the other night and my cassette player was working fine (I had my XM Satellite adapter in the cassette deck).  Stopped the car at a gas station, came back out and the radio wouldn't work.  Adapter was still in the cassette deck and would not eject.  I have checked the fuses under the left side and the one on under the hood....still no luck.  Any solutions?  If anything, how do I get that adapter out of the cassette deck with no power seemingly coming to the deck.  Thanks so much!

Answer
VERY BAD IDEA the plastic tape damage radios once this is fix don't use that again  factory radios only play regular tapes they are 22 minutes per side  store tapes are 30 minutes per side the honda recomendsa that you don't play any 90 minutes or 180 minutes tapes it will void your warranty  back in 1997

I am sure your tape motor was spining a lot longer
there are two fuses in the vehicle for the radio

one is under the hood call memory or backup fuse
the other is by the driver side kick pannel  radio fuse if they are ok you need a new honda radio
here is the link for a very inexpensive honda radio

if your radio works again, did you know that there is a cd changer plug in the back and you can plug your xm there and it will slound a lot better  here is the link to that interface
