Audio Systems: 2005 Ford Taurus cd changer, ford cd changer, 2005 ford taurus

Question
Just got a 2005 SEL Taurus.  Facotry radio shows disc 1-6 so it is equipped to handle factory 6 cd changer but it is not installed.  My question is can one be added without having to run wiring from trunk to head unit? I have heard the cables are already there even though the changer is not? Is this true? Thanks for your help!!

the way it works is this
the radio is in the trunk ( LEFT SIDE FENDER UNDER THE CARPET)
the unit at front is just the controller   
you can plug a cd changer in the trunk in 5 minutes  
and yes you can add a cd changer to this car and you don't need to run any wires
