Audio Systems: TV Sound Through Amplifer, stereo amp, comcast cable

Question
Hello'

I have a Comcast cable box set up with a Pioneer projection TV. I would like to set up an audio feed through my amplifier to recieve sound while I have the TV on. I have tried to do it through the tape loops & aux. of the amp but I only get sound from 1 speaker. How can I do this?

                                     Thank you...Gary

Answer
I must know the model number of the RPTV and the receiver/amp.

OR

If you can tell me what the audio outputs are on the tv and the Comcast box.  And, what audio inputs you have on the stereo amp  (Is it surround 5.1?  or regular stereo?)

You can take the audio from either "audio output" and it must be stereo in order for both channels to work conveniently.

Await your further reply if you need more help.
