Audio Systems: six disc cd changer installation, ford taurus, www google com

Question
bought a 2002 ford taurus ses and the dealer said it has six disc cd changer, could not find it in the trunk or console, or right side cargo area.  The dealer then gave me the six disc changer, but I need to know how to connect it to my stereo system.

Thank you

Answer
Well, there are a few possibilities.

ONE: Are you sure it is not an in-dash cd changer?  Some are and you merely insert one disc after another into the one slot on the unit in the dashboard.

TWO:  Is the changer a Ford OEM changer or an aftermarket brand such as Sony, Pioneer, etc.?

THREE:  Is there a plug or connector of somekind already in the trunk area where a changer can be connected?

FOUR:  If you would rather go with adding an iPod adaptor, that will give you more music and portability?

FIVE:  If you want to stick with the changer, look for addon kits at:

and

and so forth.

If you could give me more definitive information about the make and model of your changer and head unit it would help.
