Audio Systems: sony remote codes?, sony recievers, sony remote codes

I have a sony str-k750p reciver and I have dishnet work vip622 sat reciver. Okay I had a dog that chewed up the sony remote. The dish remote is a universal remote but none of the Sony codes are working. I have run into forums where people say that sony has a discret code. WTF anyways i would realy like to be about to controle my amp with something besides getting up and walking methode. Any help would be nice thanks.

Well if the codes on the universal you have dont work I think your only option is to get a universal remote that says it supports sony recievers. Some of the beter remote manufacutrs list all their compatible models online.  I was in a home depot yesterday and they had a VERY cool looking remote with a screen on it.  it says you can access an online database of codes that are updated daily,  not sure how but I'd be extreamly suprised if it didnt work for all your stuff.  if it doesnt I'm sure you can return it.
