Audio Systems: Delco CD ERR Message, delco electronics, chevy blazer

on 9/30/2006 you answered a question about a Saturn CD player that had an ERR message. Im running my question along the same lines as that one... I own a 1999 Chevy Blazer with a delco Electronics CD Player. I have the Anti theft ID code, So that is not my problem. What happens is, I can listen to the radio, but when I put a CD in it holds it for 10 seconds or so and spits it back out with the ERR code. Ive tried disabling the Radio completely, disconnecting the battery, etc... Nothing seems to work! Any input you can give me will be appreciated...Thank you!

in that case the cd player is defective it takes a cd and it can not read it  is trying for 10 seconds
since it can not read the cd it believes that it is not a cd and ejects the dis out  make a mark on the disc and put it in facing in wait 10 seconds if the cd comes out on the same positions it means the cd is not spining  maybe the motor is bad
