Audio Systems: car stereo, power leads, theft deterrent

have 1998 grand prix has bosse stereo
alternator was replaced so battery was disconected have a theft deterrent on stereo
bought car used do not have code and the display will not light up on the stereo please HELP!

Hi Richard,
Sorry can't help. the whole point of coded radios is if you don't know the code your stuffed!
Also even id code locked the display should light up otherwise how the hack could you set the code? check power leads and fuses before doing anything else.
There are people selling decoding CDs on Ebay, might be with a look or take it to a Bosse dealer and see if they can de code it.
