Audio Systems: pioneer hook up in a durango, pioneer stero, stock speakers

Im trying to install a pioneer stero, amp and kicker box. After running wires i can get he kicker box working but not stock speakers. I was told its because the truck has a stock amp. How do i get all speakers working?

most likely the durango does have a stock amp and that's not turning on.  I would guess that if you look at your wiring harness there's probably an unused wire or a wire that goes into the factory part of the harness but doesnt continue on into the new harness part you bought that plugs onto the factory part.  If there's only one, its a pretty sure bet but if there's a bunch some carefull testing may be nessesary,  take a look and if there's only 1 extra wire try putting +12 volts on it and see if it comes to life!
If it does you can try connecting the "remote" or "rem" (usually the blue wire) wire from the pioneer to it to see if the cd player will trigger the factory amp to turn on.

Good luck and let me know what happens.  if it doesnt work there's other stuff we can try.
