i bought a used eclipse and i changed the battery.when i did it my stereo display said i needed a code.IS THERE A FACTORY CODE YOU CAN EMAIL ME?

No, big problem. This is anti-theft or security code.  When changing the battery you should have applied continous power to the radio somehow.

When the car was purchased by the original owner the code was given; when you bought the car you should have had the code passed over to you.

To get is now you must go through a Mitsubishi car dealer who can get if from the factory.  They must know the model and serial number on the unit of the car and the radio, I think. They usually charge $25 or so to get the codes for you.

If your Mitsu dealer refuses to help, you can purchase the code at other places on the net such as this one:
