Audio Systems: 2000 Ford explorer CD/Stereo -- everything works, but no display., ford explorer, repairable

I'm good with electronics but would need you to walk me through this if it's repairable.  Thanks so much.

take the radio out open it in the top  left side the re is a power supply board is hol by 1 screw in the back
take this board out there is one plug in front

now the board is out  ford error in this board is that the resistor are to close to the board and there is to much heat so buy new resistor and solder them but leave them in the air about half 1/2 of inch  you need
1 1.8 ohms
2 2.2 ohms
1 3.2 ohms
they are 2 watts  if you find them in 3 watts it will be better
this are the grey resistors good luck
you can also get this board new but it is $90.00
