Audio Systems: subs buzz, stock radio, signal wire

Question
a shop install a system in a 05 tiburon GT. (just anded subs and amp to stock radio) The remote and rca's come from the back of the radio, but the remote had a switch in line to turn amp on/off manually. When car is running and the stereo is turned off the subs would pop continuously. Remote is on a switched 12v source so i removed the switch. Everything was ok till the trunk was closed then a loud constant buzz. The rca's are on the pass. side and power/remote on driver side. ground is good with bare metal.

Answer
Hmmm. Well first things first, go back to the installer and complain as I am sure you didn't pay good money for a popping, buzzing set up.
The usual source of problem amps is the heavy feed cable (fused) is not directly off of the batteries positive terminal and routed completly clear of all other wires and harnesses or the input level adjuster is set too high. (3/4 should do it), there nothing wrong with having a switch in line on the signal wire, I myself have a Alpine fader for rear in and rear and sub out so I can balance the two or loose the sub completly, (or go wicked and all bass).
The only thing that changes when you close the trunk is the light, so check out any possible connection there.
