Audio Systems: stereo and dvd player in Town & Country, fuse boxes, fuse block

Question
My stereo and dvd player will not turn on.  I think I may have blown a fuse, but I can't figure out which fuse is for the stereo and dvd.  MY vehicle is a 2006 Town & Country.  Do you know what could be wrong?  If it's a fuse, how do I know which one it is?  thanks.

Answer
Chrysler products are identified with markings in white print on the block where the fuses are mounted.

The fuse block is inside the engine compartment under the hood on the drivers side and a plastic cover must be removed to find the fuses all in a matrix.

There should be a small plastic tool for which to remove the suspect fuse and replace it.

Some models have an additional smaller fuse box inside under the dash near the steering column.  Same as above, the cover must be removed in order to see the fuses.

You will need a flashlight to read the markings that identify the general circuit that fuse is protecting.

Once the fuse boxes have been found, look for marking that indicate for entertainment system, radio or such; I don't recall the nomenclature that Chrysler is using.

Chances are the replacement of the right fuse will get the sound system going again.

Hope this helps.
