Audio Systems: wiring, harnesses, cd player

I told my dad to go home and get my radio out of my old car and bring it to school for me and he took it out and when he brought it to me he forgot to get the harness piece that acually hooks up to the accual cd player. What kind of harness is that?

Answer
The harness that connects to the stereo on after market units is almost always specifically made just for that specific model of unit.  He will have to take it out of the car or you will have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement.  The harnesses that are sold in stores are for connecting to existing vehicle harnesses and wont plug into a radio of any kind.
