I have an Rca TV with the red,white and yellow hookups, and am trying to get it hooked up to my vcr combo, and an indoor antenna.  Someone told me to hook up my antenna into the vcr combo and then to the tv, and to then hook up the red, white and yellow plugs into the vcr combo and then to the tv, but the only problem is, is that I can't play my movies, which should give me a blue screen on the tv, but there is only snow.  The indoor antenna works great, but how do I hook everything up to play my movies?

Try this: disconnect everything except the antenna throughput (the indoor antenna to the ANTENNA IN on the combo unit, the ANTENNA OUT on the combo unit to the ANTENNA input on the TV). VHS tapes should play so long as your TV and VHS channels are in sync--generally either Channel 3 or 4.

Now try a DVD. If it plays, good. If it doesn't, write back with the brand and model number of the combo unit, and we'll go from there.
