Audio Systems: Removing a 1994 Camry Radio, toyota tercel, plastic bezel

Question
I want to remove the factory radio from a 1994 Toyota Camry and replace it with another factory radio from another toyota. How do I remove this radio?

Answer
Sorry for the delay in response. The closest vehicle I have around to that is a Toyota Tercel. You would first gently remove the rubber ends of the climate control. The plastic bezel around the radio and the climate control should be fastened by snaps, and possibly two screws.  Gently put pulling pressure on the bezel until you can see movement.  But not hard enough to stress the plastic.  Look for any signs of stiffness.  There maybe a screw anywhere that doesn't move easily.  If I had the vehicle around I could help you out more. You could go to your local library that stocks haynes manuals and get an exact diagram of the hole dash assembly. That would take the guess work out of it. Or if you intend to have the car long it wouldn't hurt to buy a copy for $15 bucks and your local parts store. NAPA, Schucks, Autozone ...
