Audio Systems: Car radio Installation, philips radio, cdr500

I hve the code for my car radio which is a Vauxhall, philips radio pre 1995 how do i install the code

Hi John!
If yours is a model CDR500 or similar try this:
1.switch on ignition
2.switch off the radio button
3.press and hold the AS button and switch on the radio.the display shows 'SAFE' after 3 seconds it should show '----'
4.enter the code number with the preset buttons 1,2,3 & 4
5.press AS button until a bleep is heard and the radio should come on
If it doesen't work tell me the exact model.
