Audio Systems: repair?, correct component, factory radio

i have 98' mustang with the 460 mach sound system 2 weeks ago it was working fine, but one day it sound like a battery stereo,my opinion is that maybe the amp its not working but i really dont know so, my question it is:can be repair or whats
the problem? i hope that you can help me, ill be waiting for an answer....

Well, it is very difficult to say for sure without some tests, but ford radios tend to fail more often than the amps, if you want to keep the factory radio you can always ask in a shop for an estimate, they will be sure that the correct component is going to be fixed.
