Audio Systems: lose of right rear speaker, pioneer model, pioneer stereo

I have a pioneer stereo CD player and my R.R. speaker does not work. I've tested it up to the plug on the back and theres no output to it . how can I test the stereo itself.It's a 2004 pioneer, Model DEH-P3600

Dan,

You have tested it to the head unit, so it sounds like you have already tested the 'stereo itself' to me.

You might bench test it but you will likely get the same result.

*I would add that you need to be absolutely sure that the balance and faders are centered before any test.

I am not sure what that unit is worth right now new, but unless you know how to work on IC's and other electronics [at board level], it will usually be cheaper to replace the head unit than to repair it.
