on a 94 S10 Blazer-Delco radio/tape and will turn on only about 25% of the time. Can this switch be replaced or cleaned? thanks

The power button can be replaced or cleaned, although I think more than likely it will need to be replaced. You'll have to visit your local Chevy dealer ro car audio shop and have them take a look at the head unit. Sorry I couldn't be of more use, but when something like this breaks, there isn't a whole lot I can do to help.

Also, every few days, one of the dash speakers will put out loud static. Turn it off a while and it is ok for a few days.Would this be dust or a connection problem?

This problem could be either, but I believe it's more likely that it's a loose wire. Loose wires can be jiggled just by driving around and going over speed bumps and whatnot. It could be dust, but that's highly unlikely, as the connecters would have to be totally caked in dust - but it would still have to be jiggled around some. I hope this helps, and sorry for my late reply, my job has been brutal as of late.
