RV Repair: rv oven, rv products, full bore

Question
I have a magic chef 3 burner stove in my rv, and the valve for the middle burner would not shut off so I shut the propane off and took the burners apart and lubricated the valve that would not shut off. Now this seems to have fixed that problem but now I believe that my thermostat for the oven is out of line I can get the pilot to light with no problem but it seemed the oven would only work when tuned to broil. I took the thermostat out again from the oven valve and ajusted some more and seemed it was full bore at all settings. My question is how does one install the thermostat in the oven is there a way to calibrate it for temperture.

Thank you  Shayne

Answer
There are several different types of thermostats for these ranges and settings are different for all of them. Try taking the part number and putting it in at http://www.partselect.com/
You can also call the number below for information on your range. Maytag is now the proud owners ov Magic Chef so you can check thier site as well.
