i purchased this car used from a private owner who never used the radio, apon trying to use the radio, i found that a security code must be entered, after tring unsecsessfully to obtain the code, i was told that the radio must be removed and taken to an acura dealer, im hoping their is a quicker way around this, and if not how is the radio removed from the dash. looking forward to your response and thanks in advance,,,tom

You may want to go through all the paper work in the vehicle and even look in the glove box/console. In many cases the original owner will write down the access code for future ref. If you can not find the code you will have to purchase the code from one of several online code dealers, or from your local Honda dealer.
