BMW Repair: blow motor, tricky job, motor werks

Question
I drive '95 318ti. The blow motor made some strange noises and now completely stoped. Can I access it by just removing the glove compartment and not the whole dash board? Also is the resistor attached to the blow motor, or it is located somewhere else under the dash board?I'll appreciate any other tips that will make my job easier

Answer
You get to the blower motor through the engine compartment, at the firewall there is a cover that comes off, just a bit of warning this is a fairly tricky job, the blower resistor is on the drivers side under the dash and is not connected to the blower motor.  hope this helps thanks.      Nathan Babbitt (Babbitt Motor Werks)
