Audio Systems: 1996 Toyota Landcruiser 6.5 speaker installation, toyota landcruiser, chiltons repair book

I have a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser and am wondering how to remove the front door panel so that I can install 6.5" speakers.  I can pop the bottom half of the door off, but the top half (from where the electronics start i.e. door lock, window) is on extremely tight and I am unable to get it off.  I know there is the screw to the door handle that i have to take out, but is there anything else I need to do?  Thanks!

You may want to contact your local Toyota dealer and ask the service dept how to remove the door panels. If they won't give you the info you could always purchase a Chiltons repair book for your model vehicle for about $20. This repair book will show and tell you how to remove the door panels, plus it will have all the wiring diagrams if you need them.
