Audio Systems: I turned my Pioneer CD Player Volume too high and now it wont go on., pioneer cd player, mercury cougar

Question
I have a Pioneer CD player and my frined in college decided it would be cool to turn the radio too high and all of the sudden, the radio went Dead and now it will not turn-on. So, Yea, I have a 92 Ford Mercury Cougar and I am guessing that I need to change a circuit or fuse, but I really don't know. I already unplugged the battery and change a few fuses for the radio, but I still have no power for the CD player. So, anyways, Thanks for the Help. God Bless

Answer
Michael,
Check both inline fuses behind the stereo to see if they are blown. The stereo will have two 12 volt feeds, one hot at all times (station/clock memory-yellow wire) and one switched with the key on ( main power-red wire)
