Audio Systems: RFX faceplate button stuck, rockford fosgate, screw driver

Question
I own a Rockford Fosgate 9120 and my preset #2 button is stuck. I can feel the rubber underneath the plastic button is jammed. This I believe is causing some other unwanted issues such as channels switching on their own or changing into CD mode when I hit a bump in the road. I noticed that there were some screws on the back of the faceplate and I have been tempted to get some precision tools and open the thing up to fix it. My temptation got the best of me and I tried, but I couldn't get the screws out and I didn't want to strip them. I ended up leaving it alone and have had this problem for over a few months. Is there any way to fix this problem and how? Thanks!

Answer
Isaac,
You will have to disassemble the face plate to find out what is jamming the button. If you use a small screw driver on the screws, try heating the screw driver with a soldering iron until the screw driver is slightly hot. With the heated screw driver it will make the screws loosen up better.
