Audio Systems: Volvo factory amp location, volvo dealer, volvo 740

hi i have a 91 volvo 740 and i want to install a new head unit.i have a smart harness for the car but it doesnt match the one going in to the factory stereo. the car has a factory amp already installed in it. can you tell me where this amp is and if its hard to get to.

I don't have a wiring book for this model vehicle. your best bet is to contact your local Volvo dealer and ask the service dept where the amp is located and for a print out of the wires for the factory stereo connector.
