Question
automotive cd player pioneer m# deh-p4600mp.came in with pal007a output ic fried.replaced with pal006a which is a sub.have audio at input pins ,good vcc but no output.have heard of this same problem before but no fix posted.

Answer
George,
One or two common causes of the no sound problem is that the remote switch lead does not have 12 volts on it when the radio is on or the mute circuit transistor is shorted. When the 12 volt remote switch transistor burns out, it causes the mute circuit to turn on.
