Audio Systems: sony cdxmp30, sound problem, sony cdxmp30, great customer service

I just installed the sony cdxmp30 and am having problem with sound when I play the cd player or cd changer.  The sound quality is fine when the tuner is playing, but when the cd player is playing there is hardly any sound coming form the speakers.  Is there something that I may be over looking or do I need to have it repaired.  If it needs to be repaired is it worth the effort.

it sounds like the amplifier is down either within the headunit/changer of if you have a factory amplified system, which you didnt specify, eitherway do some research to find out if you have a factory amp or not , also give sony a call or email they usually have great customer service, get some information on your own before you take it to a shop, but i would recommend letting a shop trace down the problem, and it will be worth it incase there is a problem with the factory amp because you could junk 10 changers and still not get the problem fixed up .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
