88 acura legend coupe

the radio plays then it turns to static...the cassette player plays and then switches to side 2 plays and then switches to side 1....the cd player plays sometimes and sometimes it doesnt.

considering the age of the unit , i would junk it and swap out with an aftermarket unit something that fits your budget and sound needs, unless you are heart set on the old unit this is the best option, if you have an attachment to it , you might try a couple of local electronic shops that do car radio work and have them take a look at it, but in a case like this it would cost more than the unit is actually worth and you can put a 20 with what that will cost and buy a new unit to swap back in .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
