Audio Systems: Stereo removal, pioneer stereo, scott ok

Question
I have a Pioneer stereo in a 95 Honda Civic that won't come out. I have half of my dashboard taken apart and this thing won't budge. I know they put those sleaves with the metal tabs in there now to keep it in place but I can stick a putty knife down both sides and down the top and bottom. I can't find anything holding this thing in. I have 3 hrs invested in this now but still can't move it. Is there a trick or tool I need?

 ok here is a number to call its for scosche the makers of the dash install kits .. give them a ring tell them you installed the unit sometime back and now what to remove it but you lost your instruction booklet .. and they will give you all the info and walk you through it .. 1800-621-3695 ext3 ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
