Audio Systems: CD Stuck in Alpine CDE-7828, radio is fine, local shop

I bought a Alpine CDE-7828 a few months ago and installed it in my 96 Accord, and it has worked great. Yesterday however I took a CD out and I put in another CD and now I can't get the CD out. It won't play either. When I press eject, I hear the motor working, but nothing comes out. The radio is fine.

  since the unit is new i wouldnt worry give alpine a call *its under warranty* tell them the problem they might know something specific you can try before they either have you send it in for repair or replacement or if they have a local shop in the area that will look at it for you for free ... now what might have happened is if the cd is irregular in shape or if it has a homemade label on it this can cause the disc to jam but in most cases a few trys will get the cd partially out to where you can pull the rest .. since yours doesnt do that leave it up to alpine to handle it for you .. their number should be in your owners manual its best to call because you get better service and faster than email .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
