Audio Systems: Bose Clarion Cd Player, 1997 infiniti q45, infiniti q45

hi, I have a 1997 infiniti Q45 and I have been having trouble with my Cd player functioning properly for some time now, it doesn't take the Cd's when I attept to insert them, the green light is not on enabling it to function right and what I wanted to know was there some way that i can fix the problem myself with out paying money that i cant afford right now and if I knew what the parts were that is causing the probelm maybe i can fix it, if it is possible. thank you for listening and hearing me out, hope to hear from you soon.

 ok your unit should have some troubleshooting guide in your owners manual so open it up and start reading about your system .. most will give an error code and you can look it up and see the problem and then decide an action .. if your manual doesnt offer any clue give infiniti's customer service line a call tell them exactly what is happening they are the experts on your car so they have inside information that might help you figure out what is going on .. now if the news they give you is you need a replacement if your vehicle didnt have a factory amplified system i would recommend aftermarket but since its an infinity it should have a amplified system and this takes some experience to bypass and modify to use aftermarket products .. so the best solution is buy a new factory head unit .. which will be expensive but if you can locate one you can do the install yourself very easy pull the old unit out unplug, slide the new in and plug up and your good to go .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
