Audio Systems: Cra Stereo fit!, power earth, golf mk2

hi there. i have just bought a VW Golf MK2 1992! the previous owner has kept the stereo that was fitted!! Would you beable to tell me what colour of wire, coming from the car, does what? ie: what colour is power, earth etc!! this is so i can fit a 'block to the wires'!!! thanks for any help!!

 ok as long as the previous owner didnt cut the factory harness plug off you dont have to worry about trackin down the color codes for the wires if you want to install and aftermarket head unit buy your unit and a wire harness adapter kit for your specific vehicle * about 10 bucks from radio shack* this will wire in color for color on your new unit and then simple plug back into the factory harness so you have no guess work .. now if you have some other install in mind here is a site that should be able to give you the color codes you are looking for hope this helps you out if you need anything else just let me know
