Just wondering if you could help me with my problem, I'm borrowing my fathers car, and he has a cassette player and a crappy radio reception. Tried hooking up CD player kit but did not except the cassette adapter. And tried listening to the radio and can't seem to get a clear and nice reception so I was wondering if you could give me some words of advice... thank you
Mindy

Answer -
Hello Mindy,
Several things can cause poor reception. 1-faulty antenna connections. 2-excess electrical noise from engine and control computer. 3-defective receiver circuits in the radio. Were you trying to use a CD adapter inserted into the cassette player for listening to your CD's?

Hi Tom,
Yea I was trying to hook the adapter to listen to my CD player because the FM radio doesn't sound good. I hope hoping to listen to Cd's.

Answer
Hello again Mindy,
You may want to try purchasing/using an RF adapter for the CD player. This RF adapter plugs into the antenna jack in the radio in the dash and then you plug the antenna into the adapter. Next you plug the cigarette plug in the lighter outlet. All you need to do now is to connect the CD player to the adapter and tune the radio to the station listed in the adapter instructions.
