My STEREO SYSTEM was stolen from my car...they smashed up everything really good. Will any stereo work? My car is a 89 camaro rs

It depends if the system in your car was a premium sound system. On some premium sound systems the factory installed Bose amp/speaker combos. You can put just about any after market stereo in your car, if the factory system does use bose amps then you will need some adapters to connect the new radio to the speaker amps.
