Audio Systems: cassette, fm radio antenna, cadillac fleetwood

Question
I have an 84 Cadillac Fleetwood with a Delco stero/cassete in it. The casette just clicks when I put a cassette in it. What is wrong? What's the fix? Should I put an after market C.D. in it?

Thanks

Answer
Hello Marty,
Most likely the cassette belt is broken. A replacement belt will cost you about $3 locally. I would keep the original radio in the Cadillic. As for a CD player you can install a changer in the trunk with a RF modulator unit. This type of changer will connect into your FM radio antenna at the rear of your existing radio and all you do is tune the FM radio to a specified station and you will have CD sound coming from your existing radio speakers. These changers are very easy to install and they have a small remote control to operate the changer unit.
