Audio Systems: ford stereo, ford stereo, rca cable

Question
I have a 98 mustang with the factory stereo in it. I am tring to put an amp in but there isn't any RCA cable connections on the stereo. Is there another way to hook the amp up with the exsisiting wire harness or do I just need to buy another stereo, one that has the RCA cable connections?

Answer
Davey,

ok i would say you are wanting some bass and are trying to hook up some subs .. you can wire up an amp to a factory system but the sound quality and ease/convience isnt really enough for me and most people to put up with .. if you wanted my recommendation i would buy a new head unit to install which will give you better sound better look and all over better performance be sure to buy a wire harness adapter to wire everything up .. now if you dont want to blow the money on a new unit  go by radio shack and buy a converter box this will wire into your speakers front and rear and convert the hi-imputs into lo-inputs(RCA) the box is about 15 bucks ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
thanks
