Audi Repair: Audi A4 Signal lights, audi a4, signal control

Question
The turn signales on my 01 A4 do not work, but the hazards work.  What do you think the problem is?

If you have checked all the fuses, and they are OK, then I think the turn signal control is bad; this can be a loose connection too.  Be careful with the airbag removal, and remove the turn signal/cruise/wiper control unit.  It can be separated, check that the connections in the separate halves are tight.  Most people just replace the whole unit but usually it is just a poor contact between the two halves.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
