Plymouth Repair: 2000 Neon electrical problems?, dealler, dead battery

I am not sure if the problems are related but here goes: The car is a 2000 Neon. It started acting up at first by locking and unlocking the doors while driving and turning the dome light on at various intervals (mainly during turns). Then the other day it would not turn off. The ignition was turned off and key removed yet it continued to run for 15 to 20 minutes, while I frantically tried to figure out what to do. I was under the hood about to disconnect the battery when it finally shut off. I let it sit the next day and tried it the day after. Dead battery. Took the battery in to be tested and it's good. Are the problems (locks, lights, and failure to turn off) connected and how can I solve them without spending a fortune?

this is a simpile problem the compuiter needs to be reset. You can try takeing off the pos. cable for two min and then hook it back up and try it . If not then bring to a dealler where they can reprogam the compuiter the charge is 45 dollors . good luck to u hun and if you need more help just let me know and you have a pretty name pete
