Audi Repair: Audi A6 2000 AWD, oil pressure gauge, engine oil pressure

QUESTION: I just purchased an a6 2000 model and noticed when I drive the oil pressure gauge fluctuates and also if I start the car and press the test button it says okay but then shows red symbol: engine coolant level too low and engine oil pressure too low but all fluids are fine, also then screen has lines through it

ANSWER: I would use a VAG-COM to get the codes read out, to ensure some of the sensors are not malfunctioning.  Sometimes automotive stores will read out codes for customers.  Let me know,  Jan

QUESTION: they pulled the obd codes today at autozone and there where none

OK so no faults on the OBD.  Perhaps it is worth checking with the manual,  but the OK shows up when you start the car.  I was just thinking, If you press the systems check button, it tests the diagnostic circuits which includes a test of the warning lamps.  What you are seeing may be normal.  Can you verify with someone with the same type of car?
