Audi Repair: 2000 Audi A4 1.8T, throttle position sensor, mass airflow sensor

Question
QUESTION: I purchased the car a year and a half ago with 65,000 kms (roughly 40,000 miles i think), it ran great at first but last winter (i live in Montreal and it gets quite cold)car began to idle rough when initially started and sometimes when getting off the highway and stopping at a light or stop sign.
I had the car looked at by a local mechanic and over the past year I have changed the battery, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, heating/coolant sensor, O2 sensor(sure i'm forgetting a few other things) but the problem keeps coming back.
I purchased the VAG code reader recently and came up with these error codes after running the car for some time: 16795, 16891, 16686, 16684, 17544 and 17965. Final straw came this morning as car hesitated and began stalling considerably to the point where I had to pull over. This was the first time the car has ever stalled to that great of an extent and figured things may be getting worse.
Therefore before bringing it in to the garage I was hoping you could tell me what the ACTUAL problem is.
Thank you for all your help!

ANSWER: Wow, a whole selection of codes!  Idle system is at the wrong level, cylinder misfires, charge pressure deviation, mixture adjustment... you can see what the codes are on: http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/audi/audi.dtc.table.htm
If you have already changed the O2 sensors, and the problem keeps coming back I would check the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the mass-airflow-sensor (MAF) next.  These will affect a multitude of things, and you are seeing a multitude of problems.  Let me know what you find,  Jan

QUESTION: Thanks for your help, wanted to question whether it is possible something is wrong with the fuel injectors too. Someone had mentioned to me that they may have gummed up (previous owner had let car sit idle for some time before selling it to me) and that may be causing the problems. Also what would the typical cost for said repairs be, just so I have an idea and can determine whether i'm being taken! Thanks again.

Answer
The mileage is pretty low for gummed up injectors, you can try running some injector cleaner through the fuel but I doubt that will fix your problems.  With reference to cost, a MAF for your car should be around $150, it is not difficult to install.  Injectors tend to run around $35 a piece.  Let me know,  Jan
