Audi Repair: 2000 Audi A6 digital display, audi a6, led display

On a car I am looking at the digital display in the dashboard came up completely filled in.  It doesn't not display any information anymore.  I would like to have it fixed.  
1) Do you think it is just not connected correctly any more being all of the individual bulbs are all still lit?  2) Do you have any ideas on how much this would be to fix?

I do not know where you live , but in US market there is no way to fix or replace bulbs. It's a LED display and has to be replace with the cluster. In Europe , there are shops where this can be fixed. I live in US , so we replace the whole unit. Brand new from the dealer runs about $800 (check with your local dealer) for part only.
