Audi Repair: Cam Sensor, coolant temp, engine coolant

Question
I have a 2.8 A6 V6 R reg. I have two codes. One says:-
17800  Cam position sensor, bank 2 open circuit. short to B+
Question, As I stand in front of the car, which side is bank 2?  and what does "short to B+"mean
The other code is 16502:- Engine coolant circuit, high imput, low temp. Can anybody put this into laymans speak for me and tell what to do on both code questions.

Answer
hello
bank 1 is pass side of the car,
bank 2 is driver side of the car
16502 - you have bad coolant temp sensor, so just replace that.
17800 - most like it is bad cam sensor. I had the same fault on my 2.7 T and new sensor fixed the problem.
You can remove the sensor and take a look , most of the time you can see dirt inside or loose magnet.
good luck                Greg
